Click New.

Change Bleed > 3 (Top, Bottom, Left and Right).

Click View > Rulers > Show Rulers.

Adjust the rulers.

Use Rectangle Tool to draw the layout of the magazine.

Select the boxes and Make Guides.

Open a new layer.

Add an image.

Hold shift key to scale the image.

Open a new layer.

Design the magazine.

Done.
